About Me.

I'm a Chicano from San Antonio, Tx. I use construction materials as a generational language to convey the turmoil of being a displaced person of color. In my work I aim to complicate the relationship between expectations and standards of holding identity. I challenge how one sees, how one changes, and the beauty between expectation and impulse to understand.

My work is inherently vulnerable and about me, but my experience is not singular. I hope that my work opens avenues for others to reckon with what they've lost, and most importantly, how they've grown.
